Since 1998 : Professeur des Universités at Ecole Nationale d’Arts et Métiers at Bordeaux (In charge for pedagogy of the « heat and mass transfer » department and affected at the TREFLE-UMR 8508 CNRS), Bordeaux.

Research field

  • Measurement of thermophysical properties of heterogeneous media (Design of measurement devices or sensors linked to processing of data coming from infrared thermography or other transient temperature measurement ).
  • Study of data processing methods related to the measurement devices (inverse methods related to modelling of heat transfer in heterogeneous media: quadrupole methods, homogenization, integral transform…).
  • Applications to industrial domains such as: aerospace, chemical engineering, composite materials…

Miscellaneous

  • Member of the scientific council of the french metrology institute: “Bureau National de Métrologie” in charge of temperatures and heat transfer measurement.
  • Member of the “Thermocinetic and Characterization” research group of the TREFLE-ENSAM.
  • Scientist supervisor of “Thermicar” (group for technology transfer at the TREFLE Laboratory).
  • Head of the ENSAM site of TREFLE (new laboratory affiliated to CNRS, in the Bordeaux University Campus).
